Choose who can see your dashboard

The short version

You choose who opens your dashboard: anyone with the link, only the people you pick, or anyone with your company email. Viewers just enter a short code sent to their email — no account to create, nothing to install.

Sharing is one choice, made in plain words: anyone with the link, only the people you pick, or anyone with your company email. Whichever you choose, your viewers never make an account — the ones you’ve limited it to simply get a short code by email and they’re in. You can change your mind or cut off access any time, and every version of the dashboard is kept, so nothing is ever lost.

Three ways to choose

When you send a dashboard, you pick one of three:

  • Anyone with the link. Open to whoever has it — best for a public number, a demo, or something you don’t mind being forwarded.
  • The people you pick. A short list of email addresses. Only they can open it; anyone else is turned away.
  • Anyone with your company email. Everyone at your organisation can open it, nobody outside can. Good for an internal dashboard you don’t want to maintain a list for.

You can change your choice at any time, and cut off access whenever you like. Every version of the dashboard is kept, so nothing is lost when you do.

What your viewers see

Whichever choice you make, your viewers never create an account and never install anything. If you’ve limited it to certain people, they enter their email and get a short code to type in — that’s the whole check. Once they’re in, the dashboard just opens, on a laptop or a phone, the same as everyone else.

No account, no wall

A code by email is all it takes. There’s nothing for your client or your manager to sign up for — the thing that made chat-tool links so frustrating simply isn’t here.

Free links are public

On the free plan, your dashboards are shared with anyone with the link — perfect for trying it out and for numbers you’re happy to have open. When it’s something you’d rather keep to your own people, that’s what the paid plan is for.

Heads up before you send company numbers

Anyone with this link can open it. Company numbers? Pro locks it to your people — £12/mo.
